I AM PROUD TO BE CONNECTED WITH SOME AMAZING ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TO SUPPORT WOMEN, BIRTHING PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES.
I am proud to be a fully recognized Birth Doula with Doula UK, the largest Doula network in the UK. Their website is a treasure trove of information.
I am the former chair of the Peterborough & Hinchingbrooke Maternity Voice Partnership, a group of midwives, mothers, partners, interested parties who come together quarterly to co-produce maternity services at Peterborough City Hospital and surrounding areas.
I am a prison visitor at HMP Peterborough, offering pregnancy classes and early motherhood support for women who are incarcerated. I also volunteer as a birth supporter for those women who have no one to be with them during birth.
I support the Promoting Homebirth in Peterborough group by attending meetings, answering questions and supporting the Homebirth Workshops which Peterborough City Hospital (PCH) run bi-monthly.
